COOKIE POLICY

Round1

Version 1.0 | Last updated: June 11, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Human Work Ltd. (“we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://round1.h.work and our software platform, Round1 (together, the “Services”). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy at https://round1.h.work/legal/privacy, which explains how we use personal data more generally.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the website.

We also use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, tags and software development kits (SDKs). In this Cookie Policy, the term “cookies” refers to cookies and all of these similar technologies.

What categories of cookies do we use?

We use the following categories of cookies on the Services:

  • Strictly necessary — These are required for the Website to function and cannot be disabled. They do not require your consent and are always active.

  • Analytics — These help us understand how visitors use our Website so we can improve it. They are set only after you give consent, and you can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie preference centre.

The table below lists the specific cookies we use, the third-party providers (if any), their purposes, the category they fall into, and how long they remain on your device. This list is reviewed and updated periodically.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of the Website.

You can also manage cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: (a) see what cookies you have on your device and delete them; (b) block third-party cookies; (c) block cookies from particular websites; (d) block all cookies; and (e) delete all cookies when you close your browser. Please note that disabling certain cookies may impact your experience of our Services.

Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals

Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal, which communicates your choice to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Where required by applicable law (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), we will honour GPC signals received from your browser.

We do not currently respond to other “Do Not Track” signals.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies on our Services are set by third parties, such as analytics providers, marketing automation platforms, content delivery networks, and embedded media providers. We do not control these cookies, and you should review the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant third parties to understand how they use cookies and your data.

Third parties we may engage that set cookies on our Services include, without limitation, [Google, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Meta, and others as identified in the Specific Cookies table above].

Information for visitors in particular jurisdictions

Hong Kong. Cookies that collect or process personal data (as defined under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486)) are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the six Data Protection Principles.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. We rely on your consent for non-essential cookies, in accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in your jurisdiction) and the GDPR (or UK GDPR, as applicable). You can withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie preference centre. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of cookies set before your consent was withdrawn.

California. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. We honour GPC signals as a request to opt out, and you may also opt out via our cookie preference centre.

ANNEX — SAMPLE COOKIE BANNER COPY

This Annex is provided for the product / web team. It is not part of the Cookie Policy.

First-tier banner (shown on first visit):

“We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website and — with your consent — analyse traffic and usage. You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences. See our Cookie Policy for details.”

(The marketing-focused wording in the original sample is reserved for if and when a Marketing category is introduced; the banner currently in production describes only the Strictly necessary and Analytics categories that are actually in use.)

Buttons:

• Accept all

• Reject all non-essential

• Manage preferences

Preference centre (second-tier modal):

• Strictly necessary — always active. These are required for the website to function and cannot be disabled.

• Functional — on/off toggle. Enable enhanced functionality and personalisation.

• Analytics — on/off toggle. Help us understand how visitors use our website.

• Marketing — on/off toggle. Allow us and our partners to deliver and measure marketing.

Notes for implementation:

• The “Reject all” button must be equally prominent as the “Accept all” button (EU and UK regulator guidance).

• Non-essential cookies must not be set until the user has given affirmative consent (no pre-ticked boxes).

• The user must be able to withdraw consent as easily as they gave it — implement a persistent “Cookie preferences” link in the website footer.

• Consent records (timestamp, version, choice) should be stored for audit purposes.
