Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals

Information for visitors in particular jurisdictions
Hong Kong. Cookies that collect or process personal data (as defined under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486)) are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the six Data Protection Principles.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. We rely on your consent for non-essential cookies, in accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in your jurisdiction) and the GDPR (or UK GDPR, as applicable). California. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. (The marketing-focused wording in the original sample is reserved for if and when a Marketing category is introduced; the banner currently in production describes only the Strictly necessary and Analytics categories that are actually in use.)

Notes for implementation:
• The “Reject all” button must be equally prominent as the “Accept all” button (EU and UK regulator guidance).
